Randy Hamilton

Randy Hamilton brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate communications, technical writing, editing, and documentation to Salus Solutions. Before joining Salus, he held communications leadership positions with GlaxoSmithKline, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. He managed internal communications and later served as Interim Director of Global Pipeline Communications within GSK Research & Development, helping communicate complex scientific, organizational, and business information across a global workforce.

Hamilton's work is built around making difficult information understandable. He has developed communications strategy, written and edited technical and business materials, supported executive and employee communications, and worked with subject-matter experts to turn specialized information into clear messages for specific audiences. His experience also includes communications consulting with TimelyText, where professional services include technical writing, corporate communications, documentation, and instructional content.

At Salus, Hamilton serves as Senior Editor and supports the development, review, and refinement of the company's communications and documentation. He works with Salus subject-matter experts to take complex material from security, emergency management, intelligence, aviation, operations, and resilience programs and make it clear enough for leaders to understand and use.

His task is simple to describe and difficult to do well: understand the subject, remove what does not matter, explain what does, and make every word earn its place.
